Jennifer Lai Cing Yan 黎靖欣 b. 1978,
Born and based in Hong Kong
A 2019 Graduate from Photography of BFA program at RMIT & Hong Kong Art School and has been working as an art consultant for a decade. She is especially interested in the social current affairs which always reflect in her work. Her intention is to arose the awareness of public on different social issues, thus making a better place for all beings.
“Art for Society’s Sake” is the core value in her art practices. Born and live in Hong Kong, her creative concept is based on the local social and living issues. Her work aims to arouse public’s awareness by prompting the corresponding questions instead of deliberating a definite answer, thus audiences can reflect on themselves and widen their perspectives.
