Justitia is a Roman goddess that represents Justice, from which the statue of Lady of Justice was created with reference to this allegorical figure.

This is a two channel digital videos and intended to comment on the present judiciary system in Hong Kong.
20 years after Hong Kong had been handover to PRC, the respectable and the core value in this place has been deteriorating. Human rights, such as Freedom of speech, etc. had been oppressed by the Chinese Central Government. Upon several recent litigate incidents; the independence of Hong Kong legal system had been challenged. The basic principle of individualism was further confined with more mainland law enforcement by the Central Government.

The quality or resolution of the images was intentionally disregarded. Rather a primitive manipulation approach had been used in both videos on the Lady Justice statue as well as on the Chief authorities in Hong Kong. With the humorous animation of the statue, I want to challenge the judiciary system and depict how fragile it could be and can be easily interfered. The abrupt statement made by the authorities as well as the facts that happened are edited to further revealed their contradictions. The nostalgic TV screen played a role to embraced the prosperity and stability used to be in the past.
